Display the operation menu

Clicking on "Actions" to the right of a folder or file will display the [Add files to selected folder] and [Operations for selected folder] menus for folders, or the [Operations for selected file] menu for files.

Upload your documents

"Upload materials" in the [Add materials to selected folder] tab of the operation menu . Drop the file you want to add into the dotted line box, or click inside the box to browse and select the file you want to add. Select each setting and click "Continue" to add the file to the class materials.Click

  • Please select the appropriate copyright.
  • For Versioning, if you are creating a new file, select “Create new version”. If you are updating an existing file, select “Overwrite existing files”.
  • For display, select either "Show" or "Hide".
  • You can notify students of the materials upload by using the "Email Notification" drop-down menu.

The maximum file size that can be added is 250MB per file.
When you drag and drop a folder, the files inside will be uploaded individually, so if you want to upload multiple files at once, first create a folder in the resource section and then upload them using the folder operation column.

 

Add a folder

"Create Folder" in the "Add Materials to Selected Folder" tab of the operation menu . Enter the folder name in the input field and click "Create Folder Now" to create the folder.
You can also register folder settings by clicking "Add details for this item" on the side. You can register multiple folders at once by selecting "Add another folder" at the bottom.

Add a web link (URL)

You can create a link to a website. Click "Add Web Link (URL)" in the "Add Materials to Selected Folder" tab of the operation menu . Enter the web address and name of the website. Select each setting and click "Add Web Link Now" to add a link to the class materials.

Create a text document

You can create a text document. Click "Create a text document" in the "Add material to selected folder" tab in the operation menu . Enter the text and click "Continue" at the bottom. Enter the file name of the text document and click "Finish" at the bottom to add it. You can also add a site description, copyright settings, usage restrictions, access restrictions, etc.

 

Create an HTML page

You can create an HTML page. Click "HTML Page" in the "Add Materials to Selected Folder" tab in the Operation menu . Enter text and click "Continue" at the bottom. Enter a file name for the text document and click "Finish" at the bottom to add it. You can also add a site description, copyright settings, usage restrictions, access restrictions, etc.

Edit properties
You can change the settings of the items you have created. Click "Edit Properties" in the "Actions for Selected Folder" tab of the Actions menu. The properties for each data format are displayed, and when you click Update, the edits will be reflected.

Copy a folder
Copy the selected folder. Click "Copy" in the "Actions for selected folder" tab of the Actions menu. Click the "Paste mark" displayed on the folder.

Change the order of folders
Change the order of the selected folders. Click "Change Order" in the "Actions for Selected Folders" tab of the Actions menu. To change the order, drag and drop the items in the list and click "Save".

Zip a folder
A file will be generated that compresses the folder in ZIP format. Click "Compress into ZIP archive" in the "Actions for selected folder" tab of the operation menu.

Move a folder
Move the selected file. Click "Move" in the "Actions for selected folder" tab of the Actions menu. Click the "Paste mark" displayed on the folder.

Move to Trash
You can delete an item by clicking "Move to Trash" in the "Actions for selected folder" tab of the Actions menu.

Edit Folder Permissions
You can edit permissions for viewing and creating files. Click "Edit Folder Permissions" in the "Actions for Selected Folder" tab of the Actions menu. After editing, click "Save" to reflect the changes.

Edit properties
You can change the settings of the items you have created. Click "Edit Properties" in the "Actions for Selected Material File" tab of the Actions menu. The properties for each data format are displayed, and when you click Update, the edits will be reflected.

Edit content
For some files, such as text files, you can edit the content on the web page. Click "Edit Content" in the "Actions for Selected File" tab of the Actions menu.

Copy files
Copy the selected files. Click "Copy" in the "Actions for selected file" tab of the Actions menu. Click "Paste copied items" displayed in the folder.

Upload a new version
You can replace a file with a new one. Select the file you want to update that has already been uploaded, and click "Upload a new version" in the "Actions for selected file" tab of the Actions menu. Select the updated file from the file selection, and click "Upload a new version now" to reflect the changes.

Move a file
Move the selected files. Click "Move" in the "Actions for selected files" tab of the Actions menu. Click "Paste moved items" displayed in the folder.

Move to Trash
You can delete an item by clicking "Move to Trash" in the "Actions for selected file" tab of the Actions menu.

Duplicate a file
You can duplicate the selected file. Click "Duplicate" in the "Actions for selected file" tab of the Actions menu. "Copy file name" will be duplicated.

 

Linking with video files (multimedia)

It is possible to embed multimedia files such as video files and PDFs in class materials.

Click "Edit Properties" in the "Actions for Selected Folder" tab of the Actions menu. The properties for each data format are displayed, and you can add site descriptions, copyright settings, usage restrictions, access restrictions, etc. Click "Update" to reflect the edits.

By default, only registered members can view the file. If you check "Anyone can view this file," anyone other than registered members can view the file.

Adding a video file: Using a URL

You can direct people to the video by adding the URL of the site where you uploaded the video (such as a YouTube URL for a private viewing or the URL of a video uploaded to your own site). Click "Add web link (URL)" in the "Actions for selected folder" tab of the operation menu. Enter the URL of the video and the name of the video.

Add video file: Upload a file

Upload the video file directly to the class materials. Click "Upload materials" in the "Actions for selected folder" tab of the operation menu.

*Please be aware that video files are large.

Adding a video file: Using HTML

You can create an HTML page and add the video URL, etc. Click "Create HTML page" in the "Actions for selected folder" tab in the Actions menu. Add text, the video URL, etc., and click "Continue" at the bottom. Enter the file name, etc., and click "Finish" to add the page to the resources.

 

Copying course materials from another site

It is possible to copy course materials from another site. Click "Browse materials from other sites" ? . Click "Actions for selected folder" for the folder you want to copy to, and click "Copy" . Select "All materials on this site"/"Course site" and click the "Paste mark" displayed on the folder you want to add.

If you copy a folder, the folder name will be a different class name, so please change the name if necessary. You can change the display name by clicking "Edit Properties" in the "Actions for Selected Folder" tab of the action menu.
